In Thai culture, it is traditional to mark important celebrations, such as the start of a new business, with the blessing of Buddhist monks. It is believed that such blessings will bring happiness, wealth, and prosperity to that place. After receiving blessings from the monks and we provided them with food and drinks for their services. We then continued the celebration with our friends and family. The celebration at TYG Restaurant caught the interest of many passer-bys that we also welcomed them to join in our celebration and sample some of our fine Thai cuisine.
